This is Hinal Patel, I am regular customer ! I shopped from Chicago fashion outlet mall which is located in Illinois 4 weeks ago, I bought 2 polo men T-shirts for my husband when I came home and saw that store cashiers didn't take it out security tag from that. I am trying remove this tag from different locations but they said they can not help me bcoz they don't have machine to take it out and now I am freaked out bcoz I spent $30 for my gas to just go all over other places to just remove this tags and now finally I have to make complaints against that location as how they provided customer service with other customers too and I can not go to Chicago fashion outlet mall again which is 2 hour drive from my home. I need my response from you guys right away, u have to remove this tags without I am gonna spent a penny now. You have reimbursed my trips which I already traveled and remove security tags from my items which is I already purchased from you guys. If I am not satisfied with your answer and respond, I will stop to purchasing from your store and I will let my all frds and family about this incident so they can know how you guys provide customer service with customer so they will not go for shopping to this Aeropostale company again. If you are around the Peoria Northwoods Mall you could go in and see if they can take it off. I know they have a few different sensor machines and could possibly take it off for you! I know from personal experience that they have taken one off from a Chicago mall for me before.

My daughter was discriminated by her store manager in Spring hill mall in w Dundee IL after she was hospitalized for ptsd and depression, she was not put in the scheduled at all by the manager and never told she was being fired she was just never scheduled again

On 12/31/2017 I was at Store: 00908 shopping for my 14 year old son. I spent a total of $100.38 for which I requested a refund due to the manager of the store being disrespectful. After checking out once the manager gave me the total of $100.38 it was very difficult to understand what was said due to his strong accent. I asked him to repeat himself twice which got him agitated by yelling the total. I told him there was no need for that it's just that your accent is very strong and I can't understand you. After the transaction I told him that he was being disrespectful and rude and I would like to speak with his Supervisor. His response was that would be me, then I ask for the manager and his response once again that would be me. At that point i asked for his first name and employee number. He gave me his first name which was Sirge and refused to provide his employee number. My response was thank you and I stepped aside as my wife was still doing some shopping for herself. A few minutes later he yelled Sir would you please leave my store. I responded to him saying "we are still doing some shopping". He responded "no you're not " and instructed one of the associates to call for security. At that point my wife was in the dressing room trying on the clothes she intended to purchase. I called her on her cell phone and explained to her what was happening. She rushed out and came to where I was standing off to the left of the register where he asked once again to leave the store. My wife asked why are being asked to leave the store, he responded "he assaulted me". I then responded to him by saying I will not support a business like this that fabricate stuff and asked for a refund and told him we will not be taking the items my wife intented to purchase. At this point security showed up and he asked the security to escort these people out of my store. Security then asked what was the problem. He responded he was assaulted. I responded no you wasn't and I will like a refund, which he refused. Security said if the customer would like a refund you need to give him a refund. He still refused and walked away from the register and asked one of the associates by the name of Nicholas to take over. My wife then advised Sirge that she will be making a complaint with cooperate and that this is very unprofessional. Nicholas then responded fantastic! At that point Sirge disappeared, we got our refund and was escorted out of the store by security. By now the entire store is looking at us. We were embarrassed, humiliated, profiled and disrespected. To think that we have been shopping with this company for years and we were being treated in such an unprofessional and rude manner.
I purchased 2 pairs of jeans for my daughter on January 4th, with both jeans cost reduced to $14 and change each due to a promotion. On January 5th I received an email stating need to cancel that part of my order, only to see the same jeans listed on the website on January 6th for $54.50. The price for the same pair of jeans increased nearly 4x within a 1 day period of time, from $14.30 to $54.50. I spoke with customer service both in online chat and on the phone, and despite explaining the unlikelihood that the warehouse would be out of stock one day, only to have the same product available the next day, I was unable to have my original price honored. The customer service rep stated she'd had other callers complain about the same issue. This is a deceitful marketing ploy - a prior price should be honored, and to cancel my order to inflate the price 4x one day later is unethical. I'll be informing everyone I can via social media, encouraging them to spend their money elsewhere.
This company is horrible. Rude employees, not helpful at all, stupid policies. I went to return a shirt for my niece from Christmas and didn't have the receipt, but tags still on it, the store manager says to me," we don't even have to give you an exchange and for all we know, you stole this shirt from us." Rudest comment ever. This was at the ALBERTVILLE MALL in ALBERTVILLE, MN. Now wonder why the stores are closing. Cheap clothes and way over priced, sucky employees who have no manners. I hope the whole company folds, no reason for you guys to be in business. No reason to be treated so poorly. You apparently don't even care about all the horrible reviews, as there are no rebuttals posted back in response or defense, so what does that say about your company? I will let everyone I know, to never shop at your store again. There are plenty of other great stores who would gladly like my money. Terrible, terrible company! ADIOS!

I've been to the Aeropostle in McAllen, TX many times... my kids love shopping there and I do too. However, EVERY SINGLE TIME we shop there they only have one cashier...WHY? the line is always SUPER long. I asked about it and the boy didn't really give me a straight answer.
Re: ROCKAWAY, NJ store. I asked a store employee to open a changing room. She said, "No, sorry, you have to wait as they are always taken". I checked and noticed there were 3 not occupied. So, when i asked her to open 1 of the 3 that were not occupied, she rolled her eyes at me.
Then when I went to process my exchange. It was an even exchange - exactly same pair of jeans different size.
They actually charged me an extra 8 dollars bc it was a gift and i did not have the recent. Are you kidding me? It was an exact even exchange.
On another one, the changing room was disgustingly filthy. Cobwebs and dust were hanging from the upper ceiling in the changing room.

Would NOT recommend shopping at this store for the holidays! And I would NOT recommend buying anything without the person it's for being there to make sure it fits! Bought an item for Xmas and because it's past the 60 days, I can't return or xchange it! Never again!
The managers at the store in queens center mall are unprofessional. They don't let their employees leave when their shifts are over. They abuse their availability.
I went to your store in the valley hills mall on Christmas Eve to purchase some clothes for my husband and son. The cashier who checked me out was talking with the other associate asking her opinion of her boyfriend. Focus was not on the customers in the checkout line.

She said I can't take this it's expired and threw my Id at me. I did not realize it has expired since I am the wife of a retired veteran who's Id never expired. I told her it was ok I'll have my husband bring back the receipt with his Id
She rudely said make sure he brings your card you put it on. I said thank you and left the store. On my way out I asked the young man at the front for your corporate number, he said he didn't know it
I said it's ok I'll google it on line
I told him the cashier was very rude.
I left the store upset and angry. My friend was in the fitting room trying on jeans and overheard her say to the other associate when I left the store
"Im not friggin corporate".
I think this person needs a lesson on how to treat a customer
I placed an order online November 25 which were Christmas gifts just to have contacted 2 days before Christmas to learn that my package was lost in transit and I was never notified and the only option they gave was a refund which I didn't want now the refund will take 10 days so my Christmas was ruined and I can't even try to make it up to my family the only thing they expressed to me was sorry for the inconvenience we can issue u a code to allow free 2day shipping and if I like I can email them......

My daughter tried a lot of jeans in the fitting room, and we were ready to pay, the "lady" in the cashier asked us where is the rest of the jeans, my daughter told her in the fitting room, so she left the cashier area, ran to the fitting room and brought all the jeans. I asked, why she did that after we pay, she said you know people do things in the fitting room and according to the policies of the company, she has to do that because she was suspicious that something could be done in the fitting room!!!!!!!!!!!! She is the "manager" of the store with a lot of customer service skills????? Calling a customer a thief???
After the reading of all this customer reviews, this is the last time I'm expending time and money in this store. I also have the video with all the arguments with this lady. I can believe this company doesn't care about all this reviews. I will post this and the video in every media I can have acces!
They didn't accuse anyone of stealing they simply stated the fact that stealing exists and they can't take the risk of leaving a fitting room open with merchandise in it that could be swiped by anyone. No one was accused of stealing. It's called policies and business. Just like when they say oh here let me take those for you and they have your clothes they're checking them for necklaces underwear and other smaller easily accessible wear. So when they find something they obviously can't claim you stole it but deter you from leaving the store by saying "hey I noticed you had some interest in (insert potentially stolen item) would you like to look at our other similar (insert potentially stolen item)'s".

Lol they don't have to give you their last name. That's personal to them. Honestly they don't have to give you their first name if they don't want to. They can direct you to a manager and not have to deal with you. With a last name you could potentially harass them and get into their personal life.
I just visited a Aeropostale in Clarksville, TN in Governors Square mall. When me and my sister where shopping around my sister found a really cute sweater she wanted but couldn't find her size. So she walks up to a worker she was leaning on the counter and talking to the other employee and my sister asks if they have anymore in the back and she rolls her eyes and says no that's it. And then when I over hear her checking out another customer she was very rude with telling them which discount would save them more. She needs to work on her customer service skills or I won't be returning to the store and will share my experience with others.
I actually worked at an Aeropostale and it was hell. But only because you make 7.25 yet everyone acts like you're getting paid way more. It's a cheap store and clothing line. And it can get very frustrating dealing with customers who just don't understand. Try working retail and meeting every need for all the customers and your boss who wants you to make 10k a day when your store barely makes 3k on a good day.
I just went to the Aero in Hillside Village (Cedar Hill TX) and it is ridiculous to have a line half way out the store with one associate working. Furthermore, the other associate behind the wrapdesk is chatting with the security guard who should be working outside the store anyway instead of talking to the help! Also, when asked if she could assist the one cashier the associate states, "I'm doing something just be patient." This is UNACCEPTABLE AND I WILL NEVER ENTER AN AERO STORE AGAIN!
The lady in Willowbrook Mall Wayne Nj was really rude. I believe her name was Pam. I shop here very frequently. This lady didn't seem like she wanted to work. She seem very uninterested when ringing me up. Thanks again Aeropostale I will never shop at Willowbrook if she's still working there.
I made an online purchase on 06/12 the address I placed on the initial order is incorrect, right now the package is in transit at ups and aeropostale fail to help redirect the package, I've call all the contact numbers on their website, nothing so far, online live chat agent said I should call the receiver for help, when I contact ups they said only the shipper can redirect, so this is just a lost, I'm disappoint in aero
