I was a former employee at the big lots in front royal Virginia. My issue is the fact I am missing 100+ dollar check it's been months and I still never received it, but it took no time to get my last check there of 25 bucks. Ive called several times but no one wants to help.
I am a previous employee at the Gresham Big Lots and was treated as if I were scum, I was belittled to the point that I could not show my face back in the store or the area, I am suffering due to the assistant manager and his disgusting ways. Feb 3rd around 1pm The furniture boss in Salem Oregon stared at my chest while "assisting" me. Creeped me out. I will never go back to that biglots.

I went to the big lots store I Suffolk Va. The first thing I want the lay away was a go replace. I was told they are seasonal so l could not lay it away. Then l would a chest a draw. I was told the one I wanted was being did continued. I shop at big lots often. Until now I don't know if I will . I believe a sale is a sale, why are there stipulations on marking money. Your business lose over five hundred dollars you because of stipulatio. Bad business. I would like a response to these comment. (hidden)

Store number 4514's management is horrible. Managers are causing a hostile work environment, scheduling is unfair and there is favoritism. I feel like I can't talk to management about anything because I'm afraid of repercussions.
I just want you to know store number 4449 and there management are being rude and disrespectful to employees and are tampering with work schedules after their posted for the week and without there knowing or knowledge that he's doing it and todd needs to be informed of that and it's illegal and i was former security guard in Salem Oregon 50193 and i'm an employee there.
Very upset. Ordered offline as a gift for my mother in law for her birthday on 11/28/17. Was told my estimated delivery date was 12/6/17-12/11/17. My order got to me on 12/6/17, which was great. When I opened the package, I realized they had sent me the wrong product. I immediately called customer service and was told to keep the product that was sent to me for the inconvenience and that they would get me the proper item sent to me. Two days went by and I heard nothing, so I called again on 12/8/17 to check on this situation and once again was told that my item was waiting to be shipped and they hadn't heard a response from the warehouse. The excuse I was given was that it was very busy (which I assume was the reason the wrong item was sent to me in the first place, which is not a good enough reason for the run around.) I ended the phone call being told I should hear from someone on the next day. Two days later, still no word. I decide to call again in hopes that my annoyance would yield results. Mind you, every time I would call they would state that my item was already shipped to me and I would have to re-explain the situation, which would lead me to believe that things weren't being properly documented or taken care of. On this phone call on 12/10/17, I was told again that the warehouse hadn't responded yet. So I asked if there was some other way to get the communication to warehouse in a more efficient way, and was told that they usually get a response fairly quickly, but that once again they were very busy. I was told by the woman on the phone that she would put a second request in and that I should here something by the next day. Go Figure, it is the next day and instead of receiving my confirmation that the proper item is being shipped to me, I am sitting here writing about this horrible experience. I feel like I am constantly getting the run around and all I want is the item that I paid for.
I would love to reply as saying, I finally got my package delivered to my house today, and was very excited to open it, to only find out they sent me the WRONG ITEM AGAIN!!!!!!!! They had the nerve to send me the same wrong item they had already sent me once. Beyond done, and will never order online from them again, because they clearly don't know what they're doing.

I have a 3 year old baby boy and he's been in the hospital for a varius illness and he still has it i told them i couldn't work because he was back in the hospital and I'm not gone make i even called them ahead of time and told them but they all say its not an excuse i still have to come in to work because they need me but my baby need me too and he's very sick I'm sorry but my baby comes first in anything when it comes down to him being sick and i think they are going to fire me because of that.
The manager at the Big Lots in Murphy Nc #5209 needs to be re evaluated. Such a hostile woman i have not heard anyone give a positive experience at this store. Last time i was there i waited 45 minutes for someone to help me get a christmas tree and i just left. i asked the manager 3 times with no success. I guess i interuppted her texting time each time she said very hateful someone would be there when they have time. Guess 3 people in the store is to much to handle
I love the DC/MD Big Lot Stores and customer service was pleasant, very good.Store manager always address any concerns any of my family or neighbors had so far the past ten years.

the big lots store in Elkins West Virginia needs investigated. The furniture manager cusses customers and has no clue what he is doing. The only reason he got his job is because he is buddies with the store manager that walks around the store all day with his cell phone in his hand. Purchased and chair wasn't asked when I would like to pick it up because wasn't on stock and they put whatever date they want. I feel sorry for the employees at this store. Probably will never buy any furniture here again. They had an great furniture manager that went above and beyond to help you and they got rid of her to make room for managers buddy that doesn't know what he's doing. Then was told that the district manager was at the store and he said that they would just ignore my complaint to corporate and wash it under the rug.
Went to Big Lots in Winter Haven Florida with my daughter to make a large purchase. Living Room set and Dining Room Set. We were told the items were not currently in the store. We could not be pay for them, have them ordered, or pick up next week. Because that was company policy, and they never know what they will get in on the next shipment. AND, they could not sell the floor models. And was told the last manager got fired for ordering products for customers. WTH ?? This female manager was very rude and made us feel like we were interrupting her day. If what she said was true this is the next store to go under. BIG FAIL,BIG LOTS. I won't go back.
I'm so disgusted with the manager in the Laguna Hills store. He thought he was doing me a favor and going out of his to give the deal that was already in place. Thank goodness an other staff member stepped in and supported me in what i was saying, because after 20 minutes of trying to prove it this manager was so upsetting, and I still did not get the discount I was promised. I did call the corporate office but they were just as bad. I'm now looking into getting some legal advice.
Big Lots Hicksville NY's furniture department is lying to customers and selling sofas that are not in stock.I paid for 2 crosstown sofas on Nov.23nd and today I'd Dec. 1st.I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY SOFAS after being promised them 3x and going into the store another 3x.They are running a three ring circus over theft her and the associates and managers are all clowns.What an embarrassment.Shame on you Big Lots!!!!!'
I bought a sofa over a week ago at The Colony, TX store. When the third party deliver went to get it they said I had not purchased a sofa. I had to take my receipt up there to prove I did. So when he went back to pick up the sofa to deliver it. It was the wrong sofa. I had to pay to get the wrong sofa delivered. I have made at least 6 phone calls in a week and still have the wrong sofa sitting in my living room. No calls from the manager to find out what is going on or offering a resolution. If they do inventory they will see they are short one sofa model and over one sofa model.
I have been on hold with the corporate office for 15 minutes and have not spoke with anyone yet. The website states they are open until 10 tonight but even the operator won't pick up and it is only 7:00. They need an email address to send questions and complaints too since no one seems to be manning the phones.

I would like to express my gratitude to Assistant Store Manager in Des Moines, Iowa.
On Monday, November 13, 2017, I visited Big Lots. As I was shopping, Assistant Store Manager with a very nice smile, he came up to ask me if I needed any assistance in locating any item. I told him that I was just shopping. He replied, "I will be here to help or answer any questions. Please enjoy shopping in our store. Thank you for stopping." Wow! I never received such a kind and thoughtful welcome.
As I left the store to drive home (I live 86 miles away), I found I lost the key fobs to the rental SUV. I went back into Big Lots hoping someone turned in the key fobs. No luck. Hours passed, as the store manager and Mr. Edmonds helped to look around the store and on camera trying to locate where I could have dropped the key fobs. Again, no luck.
I would like to express my heartfelt thanks. Words cannot express the thanks for all their assistance, kindness, helpfulness and concern. I cannot thank them enough. Their actions and words were warm and a bright ray of light for it was my fault for misplacing (dropping) the key fobs. I was overwhelmed and touched by their generous concern. This is the reason for this letter. I want corporate to know you have two very special gentlemen working in your Des Moines, Iowa store (#1732). It is great to know there are two caring men who came to my rescue to do everything possible to help me. It was sure a blessing. It is so amazing to see there are people in retail who still care and show humanity and not just concern for the bottom line figure.
Please know you have two great men going beyond their employment duties to help their customers. Just because of their outstanding customer service, I will visit this store again and again for I will be moving to Des Moines.
Blessing to all. I will pray this store exceeds their holiday goals to receive a wonderful and deserving bonus.
To make a long story short the manager Roger Weinig North Oak Vivion Rd Kansas City Mo should not be a manager. I was inquiring about Storey Sectional sell price. Item was damaged. I asked to see manager (Roger). He came to furniture area spoke with employee. I was literally invisible. He never looked, or acknowledged me. Then walked off. Sales person even noticed. I left store returned next day item still there. Spoke to sell person and asked to speak with Roger. Manager was called he asked was it lady about sofa from yesterday. He REFUSED to speak with me. I was blatantly discriminated against. Purchased sofa the next day after speaking with a different msnager. After this incident will not frequent Big Lots and have informed family and friends about my treatment. I do thank the sells person for telling me to come when this manager would not be there.

Went to big lots in new haven, Indiana and the manager Roger was very rude, I asked him how much the rugs costed because they were all marked clearance but they had no price on them, and replied very nasty tone they are priced as marked after saying that twice and coming to see for himself that they weren't marked, he became upset and started snatching all the rugs off the shelf cause they were placed there by mistake by a employees, then started yelling at the employees wanting to know who placed them there, I just left the store not buying anything and I will not shop there again and will discourage anyone I know to not shop there also.
