I lve in NE Ohio, usually shop at Willowick, or Willoughby store. Needed 1 Jalapino pepper for a dip, they have changed all their pepper produce to a bag of a pound,... REALLY, I only want ONE! Where do I have to go to buy One not a lb. This is nuts, if I have to shop other places to get what I want, I will do all my shopping there. Maybe Heines, would be better will drive further to get what I need. So tired of GE changing up produce and products to put their brand on the shelf instead of what I buy. You are loosing a very important customer that spends about 800.00 or more each month, Think About It!
I emailed Giant Eagle a few times and they didn't even respond.
worst pharmacy ever.the staff is rude and never has my medicine when i need it.tried to order a week in advance & was told insurance wouldn't cover it for another week.the day the insurance would cover it .I went to pick up & was told out of it for at LEAST 1 more day.thid is ridiculous!In december was told they weren't sure when it would be in.drove 30 miles to DR office to get sample.only for it to happen again.
The pharmacy in Massillon have the worst teck people ever, they talk bad about customers and other customers have to hear it and about their social lives. Someone needs to clean this place up. I am sending all my prescriptions to a different pharmacy. I hate Giant Eagle
Giant Eagle Pharmacy in Hermitage PA is the worst. The pharmacists there are ignorant and don't care anything about their customers. The manager of the pharmacy even had nerve enough to call WalMart pharmacy to ask questions about me. They look down on you and won't listen to the circumstances involved. The are a bunch of smart asses. This is the second time I had a big problem with them.
I shop or did at Giant Eagle on West Broad St. Columbus, Ohio...yes I spend a lot of money at this store. What happen to the meat department, it is sad..You have closed the fresh meat counter, and put out some poor cuts of meat ?
Customer service is not much better..You might think about closing this one, or cleaning It up...

I SHOP AT THE GIANT EAGLE STORE IN LEETSDALE, I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT POSITIVE RESULT AT THIS STORE. IT IS WELL MANAGED, THE STORE BASICALLY IS VERY CLEAN, SOMETIMES THE BATHROOM ISNT AS CLEAN AS IT COULD BE, BUT THE FOOD AND MEAT DEPARTMETN IS ALWAY NICE AND CLEAN . THE CASHIERS ARE FRIENDLY EVEN WHEN THEY ARE SHORT OR ONLY HAVE A FEW WORKING FOR THEM, THE LINES CAN GET VERY LONG AND IT NOT THE FAULT OF THE CASHIER, THEY ARE ALWAYS NICE AND POLITE AND NEATLY BAG THE FOOD. BUT LACK OF EMPLOYEE SOME TIMES THE CASHIERS ARE OVERWORKED . ANYTIME I HAVE HAD A QUESTION THE MANGER TRAVIS IS AWESOME THE STORE IN THE PAST FEW MONTHS HAS GREATLY IMPROVED AND GETTTING IN AND OUT IS FAIRLY QUICKLY AND I LIKE THIS STORE AND MANY OF FRIENDS HAVE SAID THE SAME, THE STORE HAS GREATLY IMPROVED..I TRULY LIKE THIS STORE AND THE EMPLOYEES ARE ALL AWESOME. After work on January 21 2018 I stopped into giant eagle 4698 Belmont ave in Youngstown ohio. When I was ready to check out I walked out the isle by the 12 items or less. I did have more than 12 items. But by no means was my buggy even 1/2 full. There was no one in line, and the cashier was doing nothing but talking to the head cashier. I start putting stuff on the belt to check out and she says, I sorry sir, this is for 12 items or less, I said, there is no one waiting to check out and your doing nothing but talking, she said sorry its still for 12 items or less, so I just asked her, your not going to check me out ? She said no I'm not. So I told he that she can keep the groceries. And walked out, it was at 7:30 pm worst service I've ever had from any store I've ever been to.
I have just received impossibly horrible customer service from both an employee and a " manager" named Judy at the Amherst Giant Eagle tonight. I don't know the name of the female eoyre who was very rude when I asked her where the handi wipes were as they had been moved again since last week. She didn't offer to go look or look itup at the office . She said " I guess it's in the last aisle. " When I got home, I called the store manager and started describing the woman, but, was told by this manager ( Judy) it described half the employees on duty that night. This was so ridiculous since this woman didn't look like anybody I saw as I walked around the entire store. Judy became increasingly hostile and told me to " take my attitude down a notch" . She also
Said she didn't know many of the employees- yet a manager? I intend to report this to corporate tomorrow. I spend hundreds of dollars in this store which is poorly run at the best of times.
I was just in your store located on RT 303 in Brunswick to go shopping. I wanted a nice fried chicken breast from the hot bar so I waited to show up just before 11:30 when the fried chicken usually gets put out. The entire 1 side of the hot bar was empty. The only fried chicken was a couple of thighs and several drumsticks. I asked to see the manager to ask where all the chicken was and she said that some manager in the store had decided that the hot bar should be set up at 10:00 instead off 11:00, signs say 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The excuse was: someone must have already bought all the chicken breasts and there were no others currently available because they were still in the fryer. So at 10 minutes to noon, your hot bar was very poorly stocked. Prime sales time and yet, no product. Ever since Buehler's was forced out of the shopping mall down the street, your stores quality has continued to plummet because without the competition, no one appears to really care. Luckily for me I like Marc's, so I went across the street and did my shopping there. Two thumbs down for your store and it's lazy management. I can only hope another grocery chain comes to Brunswick, Ohio so I can watch your store become the ghost town it deserves to be. Shame on Giant Eagle for alowing this to happen.
3 years ago I moved from Fairlawn Ohio to Washington Square near Canton Ohio. I have shopped at the Giant Eagle in Montrose near Fairlawn (GE) for 31 yrs. and other GE stores as well. Of all the GE stores I have been to including the ones in the less than desirable neighborhoods, The one on Easton near Washington Square has by far the least attractive fresh foods. The prepared foods, salad bar and especially fruits and vegetable have too much food that is past their usable date. Rotten vegetables, wrinkled peppers and pithy apples are not acceptable. Thwe Washington Square location is very handy to me. I would hate to have to drive farther to get to a competitor but I am very close to doing so.

GIANT EAGLE DORAL DR BOARDMAN OHIO today i was at the service desk waiting and there was a guy who had his little dog there and talking to a lady when the dog lifted his leg and started peeing on her boot i was like oh my the dog is peeeing on your leg. She laughed about it but i was like wow how unsanitary is that and when did you start letting dogs in the store. Even the service desk lady said how disgusting. Kind of makes me not want to shop there always thought Wallmart had a dirty feel so thats why i don't shop there.
I am writing to protest the decision to close the giant eagle store at 4680 old William Penn highway. This is a very short-sighted decision at best. Our store, that I have shopped in for almost 50 years, Generates good business. I am never there during a slow period and the employees are always busy if the customer traffic is in a lull. I do not like the larger store on Monroeville Blvd. and I like it less so since it has a beer section. I was unable to continue using the pharmacy as it became too expensive. Our complaint concerning scented items as you walked to the pharmacy was never even answered. Rather than closing our store it would have been a better business decision to remodel it when the drug store next to it left. I have never known that site to have received any major remodeling in all those years. The people who shop there are local but university park has a large contingent of available shoppers. As I read in another customers remarks, I will also be moving my shopping to other stores. My monthly total of purchases was near $300 in December. Not a lot of money for a two person household but multiplied by the many residents in the store's radius, it adds up. Modernization would have been your better choice and if you are unable to invest in us, we will not continue to invest in giant eagle.
How can you close our store on Old Wm Penn Hwy? It is a major draw to this area. We will not use the big one by Target. Most people will use Shop and Save in Murrysville or on 22. Please do not take our store. We heard it will close Feb 3. This is really going to hurt this area!
The Giant Eagle - Chagrin Blvd, Beachwood, Ohio. I purchased a meat product and noticed that after opening it the meat was dark and had an odor. The next day I returned it back to the store and purchase another (same product/different brand). Needless to say the meat was bad. I gave up vowing not to buy that type of meat anymore. I asked my sister if she would return the item back to the Beachwood store. After returning she stated that the woman behind the counter would not refund my money because it was returned twice and a gift card will be issued. After I heard that I was outraged. Who gave her the authority to make that decision? It this policy posted in the store? I paid cash; not by giftcard. I immediately called the store and asked to speak to the manager. I spoke to Ralph who rudely told me that he could not speak to me right now because he was in the process of closing the store (it was 4:40 pm) and he said that he had things to do. I asked for the Store Manager name, he told me his name was Dave, and I asked for the young lady's name and he said he didn't know...
I told him that he was very rude and I will definitely contact Corporate Office regarding his customer service skills.
The Giant Eagle on the Northside of Pittsburgh at 318 to 320 Cedar Avenue has horrible employees. They smoke in the bathroom I caught two of them smoking cigarettes in the bathroom and weed. I saw one employee who was a man shoot up heroin in the bathroom stall. I told the manager his name is Mike he is a store manager he said he would take care of it and he told me do not worry about it because they already know about it and they're going to take actions right away. I went down there about a week ago and that employee still work there I don't know his name but I know he still works there. One of the employees I caught smoking cigarettes and weed in the men's bathroom his name is Brian but I'm not sure if his last name I do know he works overnight stock I've known him for a while and he told me he's worked overnight stock for Giant Eagle for about 2 or 3 years.
The Giant Eagle store at 200 Northtowne Square in Gibsonia at the intersection of Route 8 and 910 has the worst produce. Slim pickings sometimes for certain items and what's left is bad and shouldn't be offered for sale. Not a very clean produce department. Also if I do buy produce there it goes bad very quickly at home. Celery after 3 days gets soft, broccoli after 4 days starts to brown. Lettuce for sale never looks good. Seems old already. I've been shopping there for 4 years and it seems to have gotten worse over the last year.
I just received the worst service ever in the Middlefield Ohio giant Eagle it was a disgrace nobody should be treated like that.

At the Greenfield g. e... when some of the workers do speak its usually in a rude or disrespectful manner. That one employee they call Angel is always speaking to customers in a rude and unprofessional manner, and managers stand right there and watch...I had to stop myself a few times from actually punching her in the mouth....and that other one at customer service with the hair that looks like a dirty mop...rude....very frustrating, I hate that store, thank God they're not
the only grocer in town, my money will spend somewhere else from now on.
