I had baby items to return to JCpenny (fullly taged and unused). They refused to return items for store credit. They wanted to give only a dollar back without a receipt. I do not want to offend the person and ask for a receipt. I wasn't asking for full price just what the Item is currently selling for at the store. They have lost my business FOrEVER and the business of many people that would be shopping for baby gifts. I will be posting a blog on Facebook as well.

JcPenny advertise items they don't have in store or online. I've been given the round around about the 6 QT NUWAVE air fryer advertised In the Home Sale book on page 19. I've been to the store twice and was told this item was never in store or online. I called corporate and Carlos the agent didn't let me speak to a manager. I would NO longer shop JcPenny's. They just LOST a cardholder.

I ordered roller shades on December 20, 2017. The roller shades were not the correct size and they were also cut crooked and not straight. The quality was disappointing. I returned these roller shades and ordered JCP cut to width blinds instead. One of the blinds this order arrived without the hardware to install. I called customer service and was told I needed to return these bids and reorder them in order to get the hardware. I asked why they couldn't just ship me the hardware and I was told they could not because the blinds come directly from the manufacturer. Since this was a JCP brand and not a national blind brand I would have assumed that if the JCP name is on the blind then a JCP employee could call and get hardware shipped out. I said this to the customer service rep names Theresa and she said "well this isn't everyone else this is JCPenney." Wow speechless. I was forced to order a new blind at a different price and HAD to pay shipping on the item. This has been a terrible and lengthy process. I expect someone to contact me and at the very least refund the SHIPPING that I had to pay for a JCP error. Why on earth wouldn't the customer service rep order it and waive the shipping charge? No one could go out of their way at JCP to correct their errors yet I have to drive to a store to return the package without hardware and I had to pay more to do it. Beyond disappointed.

I went to the JC Penny salon in our area for the first time and it was the worst experience I have ever had. Not only did the older aged hair dresser not know how to mix color to touch up roots, she turned my hair purple! She told me to not look at my hair and started asking every employee in the salon, "why would that happen". She scrubbed my scalp so hard that it was red and burning, I'm surprised my skin didn't break open. She also had water and soap in my eyes and ears. Very unprofessional. I also asked for some low lights that were done incorrectly, I didn't want as many as I got, only a couple. She brushed my hair so hard that my neck hurt when I got home and I had to go to the chiropractor the next day. My hair is very thin so there was no reason to be pulling me around like that. IB Profin definitely helped with the pain in my neck when I got home. When all said and done and I was in the salon for 3 HOURS!!!! I was also charged $130 with no discount for the mess up! They wasted 3 hours of my life I will never get back. I will never recommend the JC Penny salon to anyone.

I order online order today in 9;58 am and today is sunday and later i try at 8;30 pm to cancel my order, called the 1(hidden) speaks with super wiser, her name was brandy and employee ID she give me 6734 . she refuse to cancel the order even today is SUNDAY, she said the order in process is to late when you will receive the package try to return, i told her why then i have to pay for shipment, it's not right way, you should give me credit for shipment, she refused

I am having the same problem and this problem has been ongoing since 11/2017. I just found out that JCPenney just filed a request with UPS to find the order that JCPenney told me the same thing about being unable to cancel. To me that is a bunch ________. For 21/2 months I have been dealing with these people to no avail until I mention I was going to call "Help Me Howard". The TV did come and I refused it and did not sign for it and I saw the UPS men place it back on the truck. Some compensation should be given for all the grief, frustration, and credit report showing that I owed this money. Come JCPenney do the right thing for your customers.

I tried to shop in one of your stores today. First canI say the prices in your store are ridiculous way to high priced then you come up with sales that are stupid it's called you get no sale if your paying for both items in the price of one! I used to love your store but I think I am done! I foresee your company being the next going out of business soon! Did you ever think that if you lower your outrageous prices that more people would shop there and then maybe you might keep your doors open! Come on $37.00 for a t-shirt I could buy at walmart for 10 bucks come on! Like I said I am done with your store until hour prices come down or when I shop your going out of business sale

I am no longer a JCP customer. I have been to you Riverdale Utah location 5 different times for clothing. I am 6'4" 240LBS. I have a 38 waist and a 34 lenth that I need for pants, I also wear a XXL shirt. I have not been able to find one pair of pants (levis) that with fit me

I have found shirt that fit in the lenght but the sleeves are way to short for comfort. I have always started my shopping at JCP before I go anywhere else but that is no longer the case. I hate to say this but I have had better luck at Ross's and Smith's gerocery store. That's not good JCP!

The JC Penny customer service is the worst i have ever experienced. I placed an order for King Size Mattress and King Size Box Spring in VA. Order # 1639100. The order was incorrectly entered by jc penny sales rep and i was delivered a King Size Mattress but instead of King Size Box Spring i was given a Queen Size Box Spring. When i wen to the store i was told that i would have to order a new King Size Box Spring which i did and paid for it and they placed a return order on Queen size Box Spring. The King size box spring has been delivered an dQueen Size Box spring picked up but my refund has not been creditied yet. I have been calling JC penny customer service since Oct 2017 for my refund but no avail. The excuse is that the Queen size box spring shows as picked up but not checked in by delivery company. So it is a internal jc penny issue we will fix it; but after 3 months also no resolution. Extremely poor response pathetic products and terrible customer service.

I live in Santa Fe New Mexico and have recently have been doing all my shopping at your store in the Santa Fe mall.

The customer service is great especially Ashley how I think works in the jewelry depart. She was very helpful toward me and the other customers.

Now I am telling all my friends go to JCPenny's store in the Santa Fe mall.

Please continue the great service and I just love all the clothes,ect.

I continue to keep shopping only at JCPenny's.

Had been a Penny's customer for years, though I rarely used my card. Used it in December. Never got a billing. Looked up my account. Payment was 1 day late. Penny's doubled the charge. I just paid it as well as cut up my card. Will never walk in a Penny's again. I never agreed to paperless billing.

I live in Palestine Texas, and we do have a jc Penney store in out town but it doesn't carry appliances. I drove one hour north to Tyler Texas to shop at the jc Penney store there because I wanted to buy a new refrigerator. I was told that I could not purchase a refrigerator from them because I lived in the wrong zip code. I said, " excuse me" he said yes ma'am you can't pick the appliance up here we have to deliver it to you but unfortunately we don't deliver to Palestine Texas. We do deliver to Nachdochese Texas( this is one hour from my home ) I said your telling me that even though I have a jc penney store in my home town of Palestine Texas you can't deliver it to me because your deliver person (who by the way comes out of Shreveport La) isn't allowed to deliver to my zip,code of 75801. I said well you known what you can tell the idiots who run the corporate offices of jc Penney s in Plano Texas this is why they can't keep jc Penney s doors open and the company is in bad shape. I have never in my 58 years heard of something so STUPID in my life. I usually get my haircut there and do most all my shopping there by I will NEVER step foot in another jc Penney store in my life. Go AMAZON. You guys rock !!!

I haven't received my W-2 either I use to work for the one in Spanish Fort Al I asked them about it they told me I should get it this week but haven't received. If I don't get it by February 14 am going to call IRS to report them.

This is the fifth time I have had to call online orders in because the ship to store option is not available online. Got to have that 8.9 shipping to the home which is sent by camel. You will get the home order in 30 days.

if you ever have to make a case with corporate do not speak if you get an individual by the name of Laveta. She will treat you with the utmost disrespect in her tone and the manner in which she addresses her clients. She belittles you and belittles anyones position within the company to whom may be below her. Mr. Johnson certainly needs to remove individuals such as this from his company especially if having to deal with the public.

I am so mad and upset with JCP I will never shop there again nor say anything good about them. I worked for JCP in St.Peters, MO and had to leave for Memphis, Tennessee to take care of my dad who became really ill. I applied for COBRA in November around Thanksgiving and was told my monthly payment was going to be $477 a month. Then I get a bill for $2,000.00. I called JCP to see why. The guy on the other end said "I don't know". I said I'm not going to send you $2000.00 until you tell me why. He just said I can't explain it. I sent in my $477 for January. But my dad passed away and my mom has dementia and I'm the only child and I have to take care of everything. I'm holding my dads hand while he takes his last breath at 2:30 in the morning and I had to be at the funeral home at 12:30 the same day. It was so overwhelming and emotionally distraught. I called today Feb.2, 2018 to see why I had to pay the $2000 and I was told it was too late. My COBRA was canceled. That is horrible because the first person I talked to couldn't explain it. And now here I am crying again because now I have no insurance because of some idiot. Hope you enjoy your insurance.

I bought a toaster on Black Friday at one of their stores because they had a rebate. That was the ONLY reason I even went Black Friday shopping. I put up with the crowds and standing in line for that one toaster, all because it had a rebate. Later that week, I sent the rebate form, the receipt, and the UPC bar code to the rebate center. I double and triple checked to make sure I was sending exactly what I needed to send. I still had a feeling something bad would happen but I could only wait to hear back from them. Last week, I got a post card saying I could not get the rebate because the price on the item wasn't high enough. I don't remember exactly how they worded it but I don't care what their excuse was. They shouldn't have sold it at a low price or they should have put some fine print on the sign. That's not my problem. I did every single thing I was supposed to do and I still couldn't get the rebate.

Now, I can't return the toaster because I had to send the UPC bar code to the rebate center and, of course, they didn't send that back to me. I tried getting in touch with J.C. Penney directly but they wanted to refer me to the rebate center. What good would that do? J.C. Penney are the ones who put up the sign advertising the faulty rebate, not the rebate center. I will never buy from this company again.

I can't believe a company can operate like this. I purchased a diamond ring for my wife for Christmas and we went in to the store to have it sized. I have been atempting to contact the jewelry department to see if it is ready for pickup. I have been calling for the entire day (8 times) and each time called every department in the store multiple times during the same call and no one answers. If I try to go to the operator the recording says no operator on duty and disconnects me. The store is in the North Point mall in Alpharetta Georgia. Unbelievable!!

I had the worst experience in purchasing. The item ordered was marked shipped. I received several emails indicating it was sent. When not received, the tracking number was invalid by UPS. The Customer Service was Incredibly rude.

I asked for corporate services and was given a fax number and hung up on.

I will never use JCPenney.

I can't even tell you how upset I am with your company! I ordered a recliner in November, received it Jan 3, 2018 and the lever doesn't work. I have been calling and calling for the delivery people to pick it up! They have promised me dates and case numbers, for what they did and transfer me to different supervisors, till I'm blue in the face! I have a small apartment and its sitting in the middle of the room, because I can't get rid of my old chair. I cervical spondylosis and fibromyalgia, so I ordered a recliner on black Friday in Nov. 2017! It was delivered Jan 3, 2018 and I asked the set up guy, why it didn't go up right? He said you just sit up and didn't realize, he pushed it! When I tried later, I couldn't get it up. It hurt my neck and decided the next day to return it. They were going to have someone come out and fix it but I decided I couldn't deal with it! I have spent at least 6 hours on the phone, trying to get it picked up! I've been promised so many times, someone will call and pick it up, I can't tell you! I see you only have one star but hope you will take this seriously! Please someone help me! Don't open 25 stores when you can't take care of the business you have! Why Why are you still in business!! Pathetic Wish I'd checked this earlier!!

I ordered a GE cook range through JCPenney after it was delivered i left town to take care of my ill mother. When i came home 2 wks later and used to stove i found out that one burner is not working. I called to complain and was told to go to my local store they can help me even though the order was placed on line. The store associate said they couldn't help me and didn't understand why i was sent to the store. i called customer service again and was told that they can send someone out to take a look but can't give me another one. A week later someone came out and told me that the whole part needs to be replaced and that they will have to order it. Seems unfair to me that if i purchased something new and it has obviously a defective part why should i have to go through the stress of waiting for the part. They told me that the part will be replaced on the 22nd of Jan i have patiently been waiting all day taking the day off work and no one called or came. Trying to get in touch with someone to help has been very frustrating because JCP says GE will handle it and GE says the 3rd Party repair company will handle it. All i do is stay on the phone for hours being transferred from on person to another and being promised we will take care of it. WHEN??? Do i wait all my life getting frustrated on hold for hours on the phone. I need to go out of town to take care of my ill mother who is fighting with cancer. I will never purchase with JCP or GE appliance. I demand a quick resolution to my satisfaction. If you purchased something new and it's not working you should be treated with respect and not get a run around from JCP. I hope someone will call me a resolve my issue. I will be filing a complaint to the BBB.
