NordstromAttention Sales Manager or Corporate Manager
Dear Nordstrom Co.:
I bought a pair of Sam Edelman Penny Boots Order #875718367 on 1/27/2018, Whiskey Color and in Size 9 Regular Calf.
I made this purchase online on 1/27/2018 and purchased with Visa card ending in number 8530.
Unfortunately, your product has not performed well. I received a used, stained pair of boots. It seemed that someone switched their old boots for the new pair and placed the used boots in the box for sale. I was horrified at the sight when I received the package today, let alone extremely disappointed and angry.
To resolve the problem, I would appreciate your attention to this matter. I threw the item in the garbage as I am not spending money on the return nor I feel that it is worth sending back. I feel that the products should be inspected for quality assurance prior to mailing them to your customers. Please refer to my online account for the details of this sale.
I look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem. I will wait until 2/5/2018 before seeking third-party assistance. Please contact me at the above address or by phone.
Why would you throw the shoes away? That makes no sense! What you should have done is returned them at a local store, plus, they have free returns. Sounds like a BS story to me
I'm just excited you felt that the delivery was worth 2 stars. Was the package delivered on time? Was that the reason for the equitable rating?

I totally agree with Cindy Huddleston. I helped open the Nordstrom Store in 1980 as a customer and feel that this is a centerpiece of Salem's downtown. A touch of class! Please reconsider and do not close this store.

All these good reviews and you guys can't even pay your employees when the time comes. Sad and sick that you treat the people who are delivering the great customer service like crap by not paying them on time, but they must follow rules and regulations be to work on time and not collect they sick hours until a certain amount of time with the company .... dumb listen do better you guys say you pay biweekly but every time it's time for payday I have to wait a third week to see my money from the previous two weeks never been paid like this until I worked for you guys any other job when they end they pay period I have my money one day after. Not Nordstrom they end the pay period to make you wait another week before they distribute the money to the employees

It would be really nice to get paid on time. I understand when the 4th falls on a weekend we have to wait for the next business day. Even then I think we have the most jacked up pay scale ever. It's a new day and I still haven't got my money yet. I have things to do. I'm surely not the only one that feels like this.
I can't express how disappointed it is to hear that after 30 years your are closing your Salem, Oregon store in April 2018. This is and has been a major anchor store in downtown Salem. I've been a card member since 1979 and I live just south of Salem so this is and has been where I shop. Now I will have to drive an hour and a half + to a store in Portland, OR. I love the experience is actually going to the store to shop. I only online shop IF I have already bought something that I know I don't have to try on. Not sure what your reason is on closing this store, but did you even think to ask your customers? Your customers come from Albany, Corvallis, Eugene and possibly a litter further south. This post won't change your mind but it might change your loyal longggg time customer in shopping in your store purely because it was very convenient to drive to the Salem, OR location.
I just want to say THANK YOU for having the best customer service I have experienced. Your return policy is what keeps me coming back every time! I purchased a $2500 from Saks Fifth Avenue and 36 days later they would not return or exchange the unused luxury handbag. All I wanted was a change of color. Needless to say I will never shop there again and will continue shopping at my favorite Nordstrom in Aventura Mall, FL

I frequently shop at Nordstrom Beachwood Ohio.
The last few months I have noticed the background music in the whole store
has been loud and jarring. Even the sales people have agreed
The noise (that is the only word to describe it) is not inducive to
shopping. In fact one cannot wait to get out of the store.
Nordstrom is my store of choice so I hope you can do something
to improve the music.
One the best employment experiences I've had. Very smart people. Ethical, honest management. Good work environment and clear concern for employees. Doing interesting and cutting edge analytics work.
After almost 2 years of collective employment with Nordstrom... both as Loss Prev and an Inventory Processor at their new ECFC, I got terminated and pushed out of the system so quick, the HR dept wouldn't even assist me with the incorrect information they put on my W2.
Nordstrom is shady AF and doesn't care about their employees.

I have had a terrible experience with Nordstrom Rack Online. On 1/19/18 I placed an order for ASICS running shoes. On 1/20/18 I received an email notifying me that my order had shipped with a tracking #.
It is now 1/26/18 no updated information, so I called your 866# only to speak to Jamacia, person searched, found that no one knows where it is..told me to check back in 12 Days!! I told Customer Service, no, this is not ok with me. It became more involved, Waited on hold while person checked with Supervisor. By then I just wanted my money back, was told, that wasn't possible. Again, I insisted so person got permission from Supervisor. What a mess, never was it offered to order another pair and expedite, but only that Imshould wait..wait for what???? What has happened to Nordstrom's. To complicate things, part of my order was with a gift card and the balance with my American Express.
Now I will have a $104.00 Nordstrom Rack gift card that I don't want...this is ridiculous, and You should check into your lack of organization in Nordstrom Rack on-line..I am furious, and want this resolved.
Please come to the Summit in Birmingham, AL!

I'm in love with a woman. She is all I think about all the time. When I'm around her I feel clarity. I can't wait to see her or be around her. I just wish she would talk to me. I would fold to her but she is too scared to tell me. Help me you know who I am.
I've been a loyal customer for over 7 years. I don't have a history of buying and returning. I'm a firm believer of not returning something after wearing unless defective. I bought $800 loubutin heels not knowing they were defective. When I came back to the Grove to get an even exchange because I still love the shoes the store Manager Jonathon Ortiz would not exchange them. I understand that they are designer but what I don't understand is that he won't do it even though I bought them that way. Very disappointed in how Nordstrom handled this especially the store Manager who should be the face of the company. Not purchasing anymore designer shoes here and I advise others to not as well. Saks has wonderful staff and a great selection. I'm taking my business there going forward.
I think some employees there do not like men buying anything online that are for women or products for women.
The worse company to deal with. They steal your items!!I had purchase 2 pair of boots in December when they had the Big Sale. Charged my account right away before anything was shipped. I received one pair 7-10 days but not the other pair. I called Nordstrom customer service and they said it is coming from a store and will be in the following week. the following week they never showed up so I called customer service again and didn't get a direct answer so I asked was my boots stolen at the store and she didn't answer right away and when she did she just mumbled. I got it out of her and she said it never left the store and someone did steal them. I was told I can get a credit and the following week hadnt received it so I called my credit card company and they gave me my credit right away. My card got locked and after on the phone almost 45 minutes to get this straightened up they unlocked my account. Went to returned the boot I had order being aggreviated with Nordstroms my account was never unlocked had to talk to another customer service person to unlock my card. That was the 5th person I talked to since last night. They should compensate me for all this aggreviation. Not the best company and I am a very loyal customer. You cant count on them. Now they are sending me another card!!!I told them to take money off the pair of shoes I had purchased for my husband last night and they said they were allready discounted!!Not very good customer service!!
Nordstrom let's their people in charge drug and poison the people who do the real work. GET the FBI involved bring this crime ring down. You promised a safe work incitement.
Dude your crazy. There is no way a business professionals would do anything like this. They would lose their ads off if anyone would be dumb enough to do this in their work places.
Nordstrom rack park meadows is terrible. Do not go there. Customer service is terrible. Won't be shopping with you again.
